DART flyscreen. TRIUMPH, Bonneville/T100/T120. ‘MARLIN’

Description

DART ‘MARLIN’ flyscreen. Triumph Bonneville/T100/T120.

Dart flyscreens are designed and manufactured in England. With only use the best materials.

The Marlin Flyscreen is larger than the Classic (about 60% surface area), and more curved. It’s styled to give more of a 70s look, in keeping with current trends in motorcycle design. The larger area gives a little more protection, but most importantly the distinct curvature ensures that air leaves the surface with as little turbulence as possible, for a smoother riding experience. The Marlin is intended for riders who want a flyscreen with a bit more protection than the Classic, and want to avoid the buffeting that larger screens often cause.

it’s designed to fill the gap between the minimalist flyscreen and a full touring screen. Unless you’re doing a lot of highway miles, you’ll probably find this is all you need.

The screen is a full 4mm thick and is made from high impact Makrolon polycarbonate – the same material used by German car manufacturers for headlight lenses. We’re convinced that it’s one of the toughest screens of its type. All brackets are precision laser cut from aluminium alloy in black powdercoat, then CNC folded and finished. And top grade stainless steel fasteners.

The Triumph Bonneville and the Dart flyscreen are natural partners. No other windshield is so in keeping with the style of the bike – understandably, since both products take their influence from the same glorious period in motorcycling.

Apart from enhancing the appearance of your bike, there are practical benefits too. The screen is designed to relieve wind pressure from your chest, which reduces fatigue and makes highway speeds more comfortable. Unless you’re a long distance tourer, it’s probably all you need.
